Entries are open at Orienteering Ireland here and will close at midnight on Thursday 5th to allow us time to print the maps.
Entry on the night is possible depending on map availability.
The Dept of Defence permission stipulates that all competitors carry a whistle, wear a HiVis top and carry a spare light.
Night Orienteering Event. Under 16 must be accompanied by an experienced adult.
Two courses are planned as follows:
Medium 3.9k fully technical.
Long 5.0k fully technical.
Climb is negligible on all courses.
Entry fees are the usual:
Adults: €8 / person
Student: €5 / student
Unwaged: €5 / person
OAP: €5 / person
If you're not a member of a club, and would like to join CNOC on the day, we're offering free membership for the first year (see more on cnoc.ie)
As with all recent events, we prefer pre-entry via the online entry system.
There will be limited entry on the day (by the number of spare maps we print).
Groups should pre-enter to ensure maps are available.
If you need to hire an SI card, we also rent them for €2, to be returned at the finish. Lost cards cost €40 to replace!
