Terrain:

The Curragh’s open, undulating grassland makes for fast, unimpeded running. Furze is the dominant flora with some distinct stands of trees. Not every bush or man/sheep made track is mapped and navigational care should be taken. The Yellow and Orange courses are predominantly flat and on grassy tracks. Depending on the weather on the days up to the event, they may be buggy friendly. Neither of these courses crosses a road.

Courses:

There are 2 starts.
Yellow, Orange and Red will start at the South Western corner of the car park.
Light Green, Short Green, Green, Blue and Brown will have a 1 km walk to their start. The route to the start will be signed.

The Curragh is sheep country! While dogs are allowed, they must be kept on a leash.

Litter:

Please bring your waste home with you - do not expect the organisers to take it away for you!

Covid-19:

Please study the Irish Orienteering Association's Covid-19 guidelines (https://www.orienteering.ie/about-us/covid-19-return-to-orienteering/) carefully and pay special attention to the Participant Code of Conduct.
